Cardiovascular Imaging and Image Analysis

Image Analysis: Image analysis processes images into their basic components to remove important information. Image analysis includes tasks such as shape detection, noise removal, object counting, edge detection, texture analysis and calculating image quality statistics.

Cardiovascular ImagingCardiac imaging is a radiological diagnosis that uses medical images to diagnose cardiovascular disease and detect defects in the size and shape of the heart. Advanced cardiovascular imaging procedures allows for highly detailed anatomical assessment of cardiac architecture and coronary artery anatomy. These are:

  • CCT (certified cardio graphic technician)
  • CMR (cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging)
  • PET (positron emission tomography)
